As a family owned business, being 20+ years in the industry, Busy Bee has build up a very great reputation around Fremantle and surroundings, still the cheapest self- service laundromat in all WA , with our prices being the lowest in the industry from the beginning.
Opening Hours
6am to 9pm Daily
A Friendly Reminder
Wash and dry takes approximately 1 hour to complete, plus folding time. We therefore recommend you start your last wash by 7.50 pm and your last dry by 8:20 pm.
Washing machines cannot be started after 8.45 pm.
Doors lock automatically at 9.10 pm sharp. Press white button to exit next to the entrance on the left side.

Busy Bee Laundrette has invested in the world’s best Electrolux and Ipso all industrial grade washing machines and dryers to make your visit to Busy Bee well-organised and trouble free.
IPSO’s & ELECTROLUX ‘s premium brand of soft mount chassis equipment spins your clothes at a 350 g-force which results in cleaner clothes (less moist and less residual detergent in your fabrics) and less drying time required which saves your fabrics, your time, and your money.

How to Pay?
There are 2 ways to pay on the laundry machines:
Traditional Insert Coins
$1and $2 coins are accepted in all machines. NB: Electrolux standard load dryers accept $1 coin ONLY.
For your convenience, a Change Machine is present inside the facility, where you can change your notes ($50, $20, $10, $5) in $1 coin only.
Pay by Mobile
All machines can be electronically credited by using your phone through the electronic payment website (TangerPay), which accepts MasterCard & Visa (debit, credit, or pre-paid). Moreover for a faster payment you can also pay with your personal PayPal account, Google Pay account and Apple Pay account.
For a better experience, you can choose to save your details on the website app in order to have a smoother transaction.
Pay by Mobile Procedures
The procedure is very easy with three simple options:
Scan
Scan or take a pic with your mobile camera on the QR Code in each sticker, a link will be shown, click on it and you will be send to the Tangerpay payment App.
Send Text
Send a text message ‘busybee” to the number shown on the same sticker attached to every single machine, you will receive a link as a response, tap on the link, and follow the prompts for a very fast checkout.
Website
Third options, you can manually enter the website link on your phone’s browser to have access to the payment App. The link is also shown in the same sticker.
Remember, you can select up to 4 machines simultaneously between washers and/or dryers and proceed with the easy checkout in one go! If you pay by entering your debit/credit card’s details manually, please remember to add your email address as well, otherwise you won’t be allowed to execute your payment. A receipt will be obtained through your email address immediately after payment has been made.

Cashless payments are easy. You will need a QR code reader and can use PayPal, Google pay, credit card etc. The facility is very clean and tidy and all machines are modern, efficient and clean. Busy bee has a welcoming vibe and if you walk to the end of Scott Street you can cross the road and walk out along the breakwater whilst your clothes are spinning. Very handy, functional and well thought out.
For sure the cheapest, cleanest and the most well thought in terms of payments (cash and electronic payment’s), equipment very well maintained and clean, welcoming vibes and very time efficient. The art work inside is something very cool. I like the fact that there is not anymore pet stuff wash as per igiene reason. The best I found so far!!
Makes doing the laundry quick, easy and fun! Good competitive prices on a range of different sized machines and dryers the Busy Bee is the finest laundromat south of the river. I’ve always found the staff friendly and helpful and the early and late opening hours give me peace of mind. While you’re waiting for your laundry may I recommend checking out the variety of cafes and other establishments along South Terrace!
